Challenge Credits were spent to enter challenge battles. Each match may take 1 (battle 1 and 2), 2 (battle 3 and 4) or 3 (battle 5) credits to enter.
Challenge credits are specific to the challenge and do not carry over, not even on a repeated challenge.
Challenge Credits can be earned either by winning single player battles or buying the Challenge Credits Pack (small and large). The amount earned depends on the bars of energy spent: 1 challenge credit per 2 bars (team wide) used. Matches that take 3 bars will alternate between 1 credit and 2 credits, while those that take 1 will alternate between 0 and 1.
The image of the challenge credit is based on the character's Super Move icon.
Challenge Credits were removed from the game after the 2.11 update.
