Solomon Grundy Regime is the toughest Bronze card, with the most base health and a self-resurrecting passive. The one thing that lacks with Grundy is his speed; it's critically slow. The knockdown blow on his faster light basic combo has a very long perform animation; it is possible for the knocked down opponent to react before you are allowed to tag in and attack with a new character, so his slow heavy attacks' knockback is still more reliable especially when you are relying on the next character's special, especially power drain. Due to his passive, he can take "one blow that would've killed you" which can quickly save you the match getting in a game-changing special attack that you normally wouldn't have gotten off, making this card valuable. His second special also poisons enemies, which makes it far better than his default first special, which is slow and easily blocked.
Please note that battles are highly situational: this section only mentions cards that have mechanics that, for any reason, are particularly effective with/against, or particularly ineffective against Solomon Grundy. Having a card that "counters" Solomon Grundy does not mean it is always a good choice.
